Resonic looks like a promising player however it still has a long way to go.
Playlists, unmappped shares to name just a couple or features I can't do without.
For those who found Resonic looking for a waveform seekbar there is "foobar" with the waveform seekbar component.
Waveform seekbar alternative?

Re: Waveform seekbar alternative?
Well, Foobar follows a completely different concept than Resonic does, the focus is a different one as well, but this'll probably show with the Beta and the Pro. About the seek bar component: While it's okay for regular music listening its disadvantages will become more apparent to the more advanced users after a while.
That much being said, playlists are coming to the first Resonic Beta, followed by waveform mono mix down, and there will both be a way to replace the waveform with a simple seek bar and disable/hide it all together for improved browsing performance.
