Night Mode - Possible Alternative

Hi,

new to resonic. Installed it yesterday (free version), and loving it so far.
Browsed through the forum too, and saw a few screenies of night mode.
Very slick, indeed. Increases the desirability for the Pro version considerably, might add.

However, if it were possible to adjust the darkness of the background, i feel it would
serve the user better. The perception of contrast ( i.e. lighter lettering against a darker
backgrd ) isnt quite the same for everyone ( or for the same person, for that matter,
during the course of a whole day ). A slider to adjust that should add an element of
customisation , which i think is sorely lacking in most apps to date.

Just letting you guys know what I felt. Thanks for making Resonic !! Wish you guys the best :) :)

There will also be a night mode like f.lux, in the coming Windows 10 update.

Thanks for the feedback.

People will also use different displays (think TN vs IPS) and color calibrations, which again subtly changes how things look on screen. We're definitely planning to allow users to customize themes to some extent in the future.

@puggles: Good one. Actually, most of the code for global theme contrast adjustment is now done. You can expect to see this in a future update.

A user interface is like a joke: if you have to explain it, it's not that good.
